Next Steps
Welcome to Next Steps, our new members' class at Orlando Pentecostal Church! If you're new to our church, we'd love for you to join us for this special class where you can learn more about who we are and what we believe.
Next Steps guides you to discover your purpose and live the life God created for you. The program is made up of four steps that equip you to follow Jesus, connect to the church, discover your purpose, and serve others. During Next Steps, you'll have the opportunity to meet other new members and ask any questions you might have about our church community.
Some of the topics we'll cover in Next Steps include:
- Our vision and values as a church our beliefs and teachings
- How to get involved and find your place at Orlando Pentecostal Church
- An overview of the different ministries and opportunities available to you
Next Steps is a great way to connect and learn more about how you can be a part of all God is doing at Orlando Pentecostal Church. We hope you'll join us! To sign up for Next Steps or for more information, please ask one of our greeters when you arrive. We look forward to getting to know you and helping you take your next steps in faith with us.
The Steps
STEP ONE
Step One is to learn about who we are and what we believe. During this session, you'll hear the story of our church and get a feel for our vision and values. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about what makes our church community unique.
STEP TWO
We believe that every person has a unique purpose given to them by God. Step Two is designed to help you discover your personality and gifts and how they can guide you toward your purpose in life and your best fit in ministry. We will work to help you find your place in the church and get plugged into God's work. We believe you can fully utilize your gifts and talents to impact your community and beyond when you discover your purpose.
STEP THREE
In Step Three, we'll delve deeper into what makes our ministry unique and how we carry out our mission to serve our community and further God's kingdom. You'll have the opportunity to learn more about our various programs and opportunities for service and how you can get involved and make a difference.
STEP FOUR
In the last of our Next Steps classes, we'll focus on helping you connect to a team and find opportunities to use your gifts and talents to serve others. To get you connected as quickly as possible, we'll provide information about all the different teams and opportunities available at our church. From children's ministry to outreach, there are many ways to get involved and serve others at Orlando Pentecostal Church. We'll help you explore the options and find the best fit for your personality, gifts, and passions.
At the end of Step Four, you'll have the chance to become a member of Orlando Pentecostal Church and officially join our family. We believe membership is an important way to commit to being a part of our church and supporting its mission and vision.
